It is such a peaceful part of the country – no hustle & bustle of nearby towns and roads – you can almost forget that there are other people on this planet! I hope that it remains this way for many centuries more!
It is totally spacious indeed! – The nice thing is – even if you don’t feel like you are on another planet – you do feel like you are the only on inhabiting this one!
I feel I want your photos in a book… on my coffee table… So I can look at them any time and smile This one makes me want to go on holidays – to far, remote places where there is nothing but silence and beauty.
Such a lovely contrast between the soft colors in the background and the silhouetted trees in the foreground. Are these by any chance the same four trees in yesterday’s post?
Very nice shot, it has a very relaxed feeling to it, as if it has remained unchanged for centuries.

This is very nice. I really like the composition and the golden light and shadows.
A much softer light for this time of the day compared with the strong blues of earlier..
So much space !
The word space played on my mind, without the trees, this could easily be on another planet.

Thank you.
A coffee table photo book, what a wonderful idea
Now that is a good idea
– thank you!
You probably already know this but you can ‘make’ your own books at blurb.com.
It’s something I am aware of, but haven’t really contemplated. I don’t yet own a coffee table
One day, one day
Nice lighting
Thanks Eden
wow! Not sure what else I can say
Wow is good – I like Wow
Wonderful! Really looks like a painting.
Thanks Lisa, It reminds me a bit of those “chocolate box” paintings that used to be so popular (some years ago now) of the Free State

Hi John, yes indeed they are
This picture is breathtaking! I can almost feel the warmth of that sunlight
Being winter – it was a weak warmth, but there nevertheless… half an hour later and plunged into darkness, it is completely different story! Brrr!
