Great picture! Edinburgh is one of my favorite cities to visit, and the Gardens are beautiful. I also have some excellent night-time shots of the Christmas ferris wheel (perhaps year-round ferris wheel – only time I’ve been there at night was in December).
Ah – the Christmas Ferris wheel it is – It’s set up in time for the Christmas Markets, which I believe open on 29th November. I’ll be sure to snap a shot and post it for you in a couple of weeks time

It’s odd, this weekend I passed a number of trees with blossoms on… much confusion going on with the latest little warm spell, methinks! Tomorrow should probably sort them out though

It is rather a sad time of year when the last few leaves are clinging on
– We’ve had quite a mild week, almost like we were back into early autumn. But I’m sure the next week or two will bring us back on track…
Most of the trees here have lost their colour, but it was a beautiful season this year. I have taken so many photos I don’t know what to do with them.
I haven’t been nearly so prolific with my autumn photography. Sounds like it could be a beautiful time of year to visit Italy (not that it wouldn’t be beautiful at any other time!)
Edinburgh is rather lovely at this time of year going into xmas. If only they’d do something with Princes St – it doesn’t live up to the Gardens and crags/castle opposite. I was down there recently with no traffic due to the tram work, so much nicer – it would be lovely pedestrianised and with fewer ‘tat’ shops.
