Recently arrived at Edinburgh Zoo are two pandas, Sunshine & Sweet, on a 10-year loan from China. The hype surrounding these two pandas has already resulted in 10s of 1000s of tickets being booked in advance for months and months to come, which is great news because the cost of hosting these two lovelies has already run well into the millions (Sterling).
There are great hopes and high expectations that the Scottish climate will make this pair get all cuddly and snuggly with one another and that baby pandas might grace us with their presence (a great business coup, no doubt).
So, no pressure then

We have had pandas at a couple of zoos in Australia and they have been a huge success. I’m sure yours will be too. How could they not when they are so cute?
Hi Debra – I have no real doubt as to their success. As you rightly ask – how could they not be a huge success?? I just wasn’t aware that something like this would cost quite as much as it does!
